New MLS Team, Philadelphia Union, scores big with a website by 20nine.

Jungite aut Perite; Join or Die. This is the motto of the MLS’s newest team, the Philadelphia Union, and when they needed a partner who could help them bring their mission to the masses, the Philadelphia Union chose 20nine to answer the call. The Union needed a site that would effectively sell their brand, tell their story, and jumpstart the buzz for their upcoming inaugural season in 2010. They also needed a tech-savvy site that could integrate ticketing, e-commerce, multimedia and another features. And they needed it fast.

In less than a month, 20nine designed and constructed a website complete with a custom content management system, a vivid brand presence, and integrated applications like a Team Store and Fan Center. Launched on May 11, 2009, the site saw 150,000 hits in the first 24 hours, currently averaging 75,000 hits a day.
